In creating this work, I merged collage and tempera to present a vivid and textured representation of everyday sustenance—capturing not only the physical essence of bread, but also its deeper, symbolic nourishment. The realistic and symbolic interplay invites reflection on the fundamental roles of simplicity and provision in our lives. This painting energizes any space by recalling the essential and profound elements of life.
