In the hands of a worker, steam rises slowly and transforms into mist. Pine trees appear, a pagoda takes shape in the distance, while the rice becomes a snow-covered hill. The everyday then opens onto an inner dimension, silent and infinite. Upon discovering Chinese culture, she was profoundly struck by the natural coexistence of everyday gestures and the cosmos, of daily simplicity and contemplative thought. The bowl of rice—an essential symbol of food, work, and transmission—becomes a landscape of the soul. In the royal blue of the garment, a dragon discreetly appears, an almost invisible protective presence, like an ancient breath passing through the scene.
